About Area:
Located amidst the natural splendor of ice capped arid mountain peaks
& marked by the famous Baralachala pass, nested is the lake of the
Sun God ie lake Suraj Tal. This sacred & stunningly clear water
lake is every photographer's & nature lover's paradise.
This trek to Suraj Tal skirts along the bank of the river for about 3
kms & through the Bhaga valley of which the lake is a part.
The Bhaga river originates from this lake & further confluence with
the river Chandra to form Chandrabhaga river. The Base camp is on
Manali Leh Highway. Team will be crossing 2 passes (Rohtang and
Baralacha la). The region is close to Tibet border.
Brief
Itinerary:
Day 1 Dept from
Mumbai to Chandigarh.
Day 2 Overnight travel to Manali (2000mt)
Day 3 Rest followed by acclimatization exercises.
Day 4 Acclimatization and preparation for trek (Purchasing)
Day 5 Travel to Darcha & stay in tents (3400mt)
Day 6 Acclimatization activities for trek
Day 7 Travel to KilingSarai & hike then stay in tents. (4800mt)
Day 8 Travel to Sarchu & hike and stay in tents.(4800 mt)
Day 9 Trek to Suraj Tal & stay.(4800mt)
Day 10 Trek to Bhraratpur Base Camp & return to Manali
Day 11 Manali Site seeing
Day 12 Stay at Manali. Night Dept. to Delhi.
Day 13 Dept. to Mumbai.
Day 14 Arrival to Mumbai.

Fitness:
One should be able to walk 8-10 kms at a strech per day. If not
habitual one should do regular exercise & walk 5-6 km daily to the
level of certain comfort. 1-2 month practice is required for those who
will be attending first time. The regular exercise can help you
acclimatize in the high altitude stay. The participants should consider
doing couple of treks in the mountain as a part of preparation.

Cost excludes:
Mineral water, Cold drinks, Unplanned stay in hotel in

** All participants should qualify minimum fitness
criteria before trek set by the leader.

Maximum efforts
are made to ensure the safety of the participant. However, Bhramanti
& their management will not be responsible for injuries of any
nature, mental or physical, whether caused directly or indirectly due
to any adventure sports or their allied activities.

Every
participant is required to fill a registration form and indemnity bond
prior to the commencement of the trip.

Refund and
cancellation:
- If you cancel 20 days before the trip begins, Bhramanti will retain
20% of the trip cost.
- If you cancel 15 days before the trip begins, Bhramanti will retain
50 % of the trip cost.
- If you cancel less than 14 days before the trip begins, or, are not
present when the trip begins, there will be no refund.

Bhramanti will
take every care to ensure that itineraries are followed to the letter
but circumstances beyond control may necessitate changes. In case of
changes in routes and properties, Bhramanti will accept no liability
but make arrangements for substitution of equal.

Bhramanti will
accept no liability for any damage, losses and expenses suffered by any
participants as a result of sickness, quarantine, weather conditions,
war, strikes, riots or any other cause outside our control.

Any damage,
other than that attributable to fair wear and tear, to the equipments
by the participants will be billed to you. Our decision on all such
matters will be final and binding.
